CENTRE FOR STUDIES OF PROBLEMS OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING AND ORGANIZATION OF HUNTING ECONOMY ON SUSTAINABLE BASIS
The Centre for studies of problems of environmental engineering and organization on sustainable basis was established for scientific-methodological substantiation of addressing issues of integrated natural resource use, increasing sustainability of natural-anthropogenic systems, organization and planning of specific directions of environmental engineering, as well as zones with special conditions of use of territories
The main fields of activities of the Centre are the following:
  • Scientific substantiation, project development and statutory definition of zones with specific conditions for using territories (sanitary protection zones of water supply sources, sanitary-protective zones of industrial centres and specific enterprises, etc.);
  • Scientific substantiation of development of norms and methodologicaql instruments for hunting economy management, including: 
    • Development of methodology of the state monitoring of hunting resources,
    • Development of methodology for assessing damage to hunting resources;
    • Development of norms for implementing biotechnical measures;
    • Development of norms for expenditure on hunting economic activities;
  • Development of scientifically based strategic documents and plans in the field of hunting economy development at the national level, for the subjects of the Russian Federation and local hunting enterprises, including substantiation and development of schemes of location, use and protection of hunting grounds on the territory of federation subjects;
  • Scientific substantiation of the preparation of plans and programmes on the development of the SPNA system, management and improvement of SPNA activities;
  • Applied studies on the adherence of the regime of zones with special conditions of use of territories (sanitary-protective zones of industrial centres and specific enterprises, zones of sanitary protection of sources of water supply, etc.);
  • Development and implementation of modern scientifically based approaches to addressing applied issues of rational water use (including problems of water delivery to population and industry, efficient organization of water sector, etc.).
